Having your holidays to Malia is just one of the best ideas a person could think of, especially for those from the younger generation. Malia offers so much for this age group, from lazy days on the beach to a vibrant nightlife. This great holiday place is situated on the island of Crete.

It is not far from Heraklion airport, only around 20 miles, and is east of Hersonissos and west of Sissi. There are plenty of places to stay and even more places where you can find something to eat. Anyone who likes restaurants, well, you will find them here. For those with a day full of activities planned there are the snack bars or fast food places.

Day life can be full of things to do, especially with a beautiful sandy beach. If you are someone who likes sports then there is football and volleyball you can join in on. If you like water activities then there is water skiing and jet skiing, or take to the air with paragliding or parascending.

For those that love the music of the nightlife, go dancing or get into it at a disco. Take your friends to a pub for a round of drinks, go to a music bar or try out the cocktail bar. Malia nightlife can be just amazing, and if you are thinking of a great time, you might just find it here.

If you are one of those shoppers when on holidays, then there are plenty of shops and they stay open late. The main hub of this place is not like the normal life on Crete which can be much quieter. Maybe you may relish a day of peace and quiet after plenty of the other activities. If so, then there is the village of Malia to the south.

The summer season is a lovely time to come and is particularly busy. But a person would not have to come just at that time of year, they would be welcome anytime or any season. You will not be bored in Malia. There is far too much to do and you will be so busy, you will probably forget which day it is.
