Episode 3 Carp Fishing in Spain with Andy and YouTube member Fishmadrid

In this episode we team up in Spain with Youtube member fishmadrid and the editor of the magazine Carp Diem. The lake ‘Park Tierno Galvan’ is located in a village called San Martin De la Vega. 30km south of Madrid. It’s a mature gravel pit about 1 and a 1/2 acres. It has Carp to upto 30lb and crucian carp to upto 4lb. It’s a Madrid’s run’s water, now becoming a very popular venue for the new generation of Spanish Carp Anglers. It’s very deep with depths of upto 50ft. We capture a double figure common carp on film caught by a local fisherman, and have a screaming run in the last ten minutes of the day and unfortunately loose the fish. Andy goes through the rig he is using, and his methods of fishing. We couldn’t night fish due to the laws in Spain at the monent. He can also be seen in the Fat Angling Tours video
