carp fishing france fishabil 2006 mirror grass sturgeon. we travelled from portsmouth to le harve then drove to fishabil for 5 days carp fishing….and what a 5 days they were…over 35 fish between the 2 of us( my stepson and myself ), biggest fish was a mirror carp just over 29lbs which is now my pb, along with my first ever grass carp 20lb and first sturgeon 16lb followed a day later by another of 17lb..My stepson broke his own pb which now stands at 24lb(mirror carp)… of the 35+ fish only 5 or 6 weighed in at under 20lb..Between us we also lost maybe 6 – 8 fish, 2 of which felt alot heavier than the 29lb but we will never know 8-)….summary…what a week and if you get the chance you gotta give it a go….
